Singing day with Ralph Allwood

Treat yourself to a day of choral music-making
As Spring approaches, join us for a singing day exploring five tender and uplifting pieces from the contemporary choral repertoire. This is an unusual opportunity to experience the beauty and depth of feeling expressed in the works of some outstanding living composers. Four of the pieces we’ll sing are a capella, with some 8-part harmonies, allowing us to focus on the purity and colour of our vocal sound.
Ralph Allwood
Ralph was Director of Music at Eton College for 26 years and is now a freelance choral director. He is especially involved in music for young people. Bearing in mind our own bursary scheme, we hope this day will appeal to young adults who might then wish to join our choir.
