A Special Sound
Being part of a blended sound described by John Rutter as “transparent” and by Susan Gritton as “a special sound”.
Touring
Last season we sang in in St Edmundsbury and Ely Cathedrals, as well as our "home" venue of St. Mary's Church, Reigate. We were thrilled to be invited to sing in the English Music Festival in May 2019.
This season has sadly been affected by Covid 19, but next season we are hoping to sing in St Edmundsbury Cathedral and the Queen Elizabeth Hall, as well as local venues. The EAC also hopes that the tour to Prague will happen in April 2021.
Plenty of Variety
A wide range of styles and idioms from Bach to Britten, lots of English music including living composers.
A great home venue
St Mary’s Church Reigate - beautiful, large, and well set out for music.
Rewarding rehearsals
Productive but good humoured rehearsals where high musical expectations are fulfilled and mingled with plenty of fun.
Joining is painless...!
