English Arts Chorale

EAC President Brian Kay, who also presides over the Leith Hill Festival, recently awarded the highest mark to the ensemble from Buckland and Betchworth Choral Society. The group, which included EAC Alto Rosemary and former Treasurer Edward, scored an impressive 90, a rare achievement at the festival. The ensemble of eight, who have sung together for some time, captivated the audience, creating a hushed moment at the end of their performance. Among other EAC members who participated, Alto Sue’s Oxshott choir emerged victorious on Saturday.

A photo captured Kay presenting the coveted Silver Salver to the BBCS ensemble, marking a memorable moment for both the EAC choir and the Leith Hill Festival.
